Monday
While Wendy laments about her bad choices with Quinn, Andrew admits he may have overreacted.
After some soul searching, Andrew apologises to Wendy for letting her stay away from home overnight instead of talking through their issues. In response, Wendy is honest with him.
Wendy admits that she hasn't been searching for someone else, she's been looking for herself and she found her at uni. This was someone who isn't judged and is accepted for who she is.
While Andrew struggles to wrap his head around Wendy's insight, she tells him she hopes they can work through this together. But there's the sense it will be a bumpy road ahead.
Tuesday
Throwing herself into work, Terese insists on assigning Harold, Susan and Karl's tasks to herself, despite their encouragement to take time for herself.
Sensitive to the situation, the Kennedys continue to hold their tongues when Terese discards their work on Eirini Rising's intergenerational fitness program, wanting to start from scratch.
Meanwhile, Paul is offered a large stock of floral arrangements going cheap, and decides to gift them to Terese. Despite his sincere motives, Susan is suspicious of the gesture, but an unruffled Terese seeks out Paul to express her gratitude for his friendship.
On the work front, Paul fears Krista is spreading herself too thin by helping with the sale of Harold's and advises her to take back her offer.
Wednesday
Cara is noticeably quiet on the morning of her university disciplinary hearing and when Remi calls her on it, she reveals she won't be going as she's decided to quit her course.
Both Remi and Aaron realise Cara's insecurities are holding her back. They remind her of her tenacity, and how she thrives when she's out of her comfort zone, talking Cara off the ledge and renewing her confidence to attend the hearing.
Pleading her case to department head Leona, Cara is surprised when she's told there won't be any disciplinary action taken against her. In fact, she'll be allowed to resubmit her assessment under exam conditions and be re-graded.
Afer the hearing, Leona asks her about Dex, revealing that the solution he submitted on Cara's behalf was genius level and advises Cara to enrol her clearly gifted son in an accelerated learning programme.
Surprised, Cara is relaying the information to Remi, when Remi suddenly receives an urgent phone call from the hospital. When she gets there, she learns that there's been a brawl at Warrinor Prison.
Multiple prisoners have serious injuries, while one is in a critical condition with stab wounds. When Remi goes to check on the prisoner, she's shocked to see it's JJ's donor, Felix Rodwell.
However, he's caught off-guard when Krista refuses, asserting that she and Paul are now equal managers.\\
Thursday
Remi is shocked to discover Felix is her patient – and after assessing him decides to pass his care onto another doctor.
Shocked to learn Felix has been injured, JJ tentatively agrees to go visit Felix but reneges at the last minute.
Meanwhile, needing a second job, Sadie applies for a position at the Day Spa. Though untrained in beauty therapies, Krista hires her and suggests Lassiters will pay for her additional training.
Sadie is thrilled but Paul is angry and the two lock horns over their new shared-power dynamic. Krista turns to Terese for advice on how to handle Paul - and is surprised when she speaks of her ex so fondly.
Krista tells Leo she senses there's still a spark between them, but it seems she's got it all wrong when Terese confronts Paul for trying to quash his new co-owner's instincts. But, as always, confrontation is this former couple's lover language and the pair seem to back away from each other a little happier. Maybe Krista was right?
Elsewhere, feeling guilty about her role in the schism between her parents, Sadie organises a surprise date for Wendy and Andrew, but they are shocked to learn Felix has been hurt in a prison brawl - and is in hospital fighting for his life. Wendy asks Andrew if he wants to go visit his brother in hospital, but Andrew is resolute – Felix getting hurt doesn't change anything. He doesn't want his family having anything to do with him. But Wendy is troubled by his hard-line stance - and pays Felix a secret visit. Will her betrayal be the final straw for their marriage?
