Monday
Mali is downcast after being dumped by Rose. Elandra quickly shares the news with Tane. He admits to his friend that he'd been keeping things from her for weeks, but his brother was in trouble and doesn't know what else he was supposed to do.
Iluka reports to Elandra that he copped an earful from Mackenzie. Mali is not happy to hear that his housemate has evicted his brother. He tells her that if Iluka can't stay there, then neither will he. Levi tries to convince Mac to make things right, but she stands firm – she didn't kick him out anyway, only his brother.
Mali is further shattered when Iluka tells him he has decided to go home with Elandra – working together in the board shop was Mali's dream, not his. When Mac catches up with Mali on the beach, neither wants to fight. She apologises for not being more understanding, and he for not being honest. She promises that her home is his home.
Meanwhile, John remains opposed to Tane's youth programme proposal, insisting that he doesn't want the surf club overrun by juvenile delinquents. Alf is on Tane's side as he has always run a tight ship, but John counters that he was nearly jailed for kidnapping. When he overhears Tane counselling a troubled Mali, though, he softens and reports to Alf that Tane is ready to step up.
Unfortunately, it could be too late for the change of heart, given the committee have been spooked by an email warning of feral teens wreaking havoc on their club. Can John convince the committee members that he was wrong to put them off the proposal?
Tuesday
Alf sits down later with an action plan for Tane, but they need to get Harper on board. Tane is wary, as he only just agreed to give Harper space from their friendship. What will this mean for his proposal?

Wednesday
Dana badgers Harper while she works out – she can't believe everyone is so trusting of Bronte. Harper asks her sister to drop it, but her mind is fixed on exposing the con and nothing's going to change it. She pries when she sees Irene, questioning whether she has told Leah yet that Bronte is still suing them.
Dana takes that into her own hands and also reports that Irene is using her own money to settle the claim. When she refuses to apologise for her actions, Irene scolds her for spilling the beans, before revealing that she has remortgaged the house in order to save Bronte's life. Will Dana be able to prove Bronte's lying before it's too late?
Meanwhile, Tane breaks his commitment to giving Harper space when he asks her to exaggerate her involvement in the youth programme for a meeting with Alf. She feels bad being dishonest, but the meeting is a success and the programme is back on track. Tane promises he'll find a way to get her out of it, but will she get the space she needs to get over him?
Elsewhere, Felicity is excited for Eden's first day at Salt, and while Eden feels strange being up before ten, she's pleased to hear that Mac won't be there, and that Levi is home from the hospital. Felicity asks whether she is she sure she doesn't want to visit him. Eden doesn't, but she's warming to the idea of working with Mackenzie – she tells her new boss that it's not her fault she fell in love with a cheater.
Also today, when a handsome stranger comes into the board shop, he flirts with Kirby, and later wolf whistles at the girls from the balcony at Salt. When Felicity confronts him, he turns on the charm, and she secretly enjoys the attention.
This is not unnoticed by Eden, who urges her to give him a chance, and he leaves his number behind when he goes. Felicity says she won't call it but can't help but smile. Is she ready to explore a new romantic spark?
Thursday
Cash still hasn't heard about his application to rejoin the force, and it's playing large on his mind. He checks in with Rose and tells her about his plans. His old friend promises to look into things for him.
Rose knows there's nothing available at Yabbie Creek, but maybe he can take a position somewhere else.
At the same time, Felicity still has Rory's number, and Eden asks Cash to persuade her to call. He talks his sister into being brave and tells Eden that he's taking his own advice by calling police HQ to check on the status of his application. Will Cash be allowed back on the force?
Meanwhile, Irene explains her decision to Leah, who's shocked to hear her friend is remortgaging her house to settle Bronte's lawsuit. She thinks she's making the wrong choice, but Irene talks about her good fortune – how can she say that her possessions are worth more than Bronte's life?
Her words strike a chord with Leah, who decides to make her own contribution. That afternoon they give Bronte the good news – they're giving her fifty grand, half each, and Dana seethes as she overhears the exchange.
Elsewhere, Xander is out of favour with Dana over his continued support of Bronte, and she blinks back tears after he again doubts her. When she does get the con artist alone, she confronts her again for scamming Irene. Cornered, Bronte lets the mask slip just for a minute – hissing at her to prove it.
Dana takes this as an admission, but a last-ditch effort to change Irene and Leah's minds fails. Rose asks for evidence when she tries to report the crime. Harper and Xander attempt an intervention after another clash, and Dana is outraged, kicking her boyfriend out when he continues to press. Can Dana convince anyone of Bronte's scheming?
Friday
Dana is off duty when she comes to the hospital and searches for Bronte's records. Bree catches her red-handed. Dana explains there's no record of Bronte's apparent contamination, and she asks her friend to conduct a wider search of all the hospitals in the state.
Despite her reservations, Bree obliges and can't find medical records anywhere. Again, Dana confronts Bronte, who issues a cold threat by asking whether Dana's big mouth has got her into trouble before.
John queries Irene and Leah's decision to make such large donations to the cause, which is news to Alf when he overhears. Bronte feigns gratitude when she tells Xander the crowdfunder is almost at seventy grand.
When Alf quizzes her in the surf club, she nearly reveals her true nature when she flares under questioning, and later she calls her co-conspirator again – declaring that they need to shut Dana up.
At home, Dana is alone when Bronte arrives with "old friend" Chase, who she quickly ascertains is her accomplice. Bronte brags that they've done this twice before. She adds that she has never met anyone as annoying as Dana, though.
With that, Chase throws Dana's phone to Bronte, and covers her mouth as Bronte takes out a roll of duct tape. No-one can hear Dana scream as she realises she's being kidnapped.
Meanwhile, Cash's phone call to police HQ has sped up the process, and Eden reports to Remi that he'll know by that night whether he's back on the force. A call from Rose reveals there are no vacancies at Reefton Lakes. Finally, though, he tells Eden the police want him back - he's been offered his old rank, but at Mangrove River, the worst police station in the state.
