Nice to be here  I'm Sarah, based in central Portugal, no children but 28 animals instead! Five horses, six dogs, two cats, two dwarf goats and 13 chickens.

That's a lot of animals, I imagine they're a great deal of work!

Hi @Crystal - yes and no. The horses are retired and live as close to a natural life as possible and with 3 hectares of land we don't have to walk the dogs! The chickens and goats are easy  So there's a lot of feeding and, ahem, waste management but they are very much worth it.
